Taste of Lawrence 2016

The Taste of Lawrence is an international food and cultural festival, celebrating the cultural diversity of the Wexford Heights community. The event features food from India to Italy to Jamaica, as well as an ASIA Expo.

There is also live entertainment from the east and many more culturally oriented musical performances and children have the opportunity to take part in arts and crafts.

This year there are going to be over 130 street vendors, midway rides, and 2 stages for live entertainment.(Album)

Orangeville Rotary Ribfest! 2016

Welcome to the Orangeville Rotary Ribfest! 2016 marks the 7th anniversary of this great community event. Our six fabulous ribbers will be serving up thousands of mouth-watering-barbecued-fall-off-the-bone-get-your-hands-messy ribs. Barbequed ribs, a beer tent, continuous live-entertainment on the big stage—there’s no better way to celebrate summer in Orangeville! Admission is free but donations are gratefully accepted at the gate. The midway, presented by Albion Amusements, will be running all weekend to provide fun for the kids. 2016's event will be at the Alder Street Rec Centre from July 15 – 17. Hope to see you there! 2016 celebrates the 38th annual Canal Days

2016 celebrates the 38th annual Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival offers activities and attractions that will enliven the senses. Vessels gather in Port Colborne each Civic holiday weekend, for a four-day celebration of history and heritage along the canal. Explore the decks, try your hand at the wheel, or feel the spray as you cruise the Empire Sandy, Tall Ship, the Hamilton Harbour Queen on Lake Erie or the E.M. Cotter Fire Boat along the Canal wall. Mac'n Cheese Festival 2016
The second annual Mac and Cheese Festival is returning to Toronto June 3, 4 and 5 2016, taking over Ontario Place West Island, after a five year closure. This year, the festival will feature over 75 food, drink and artisanal vendors; 40 of which include Toronto’s top chefs, savvy cooks and food entrepreneurs, competing to make the city’s best mac and cheese. Free to the public, the Mac and Cheese Festival is offering attendees a bigger and better event. “It is all about top quality food and beverage supporting local businesses, ensuring Torontonians and visitors are given an amazing event experience and taste some of the best mac and cheese the city has ever tasted,” said Daniel Janetos, Director, Strategic Partnerships, Mac and Cheese Festival. “Last years festival set out to attract 20,000 foodies but we ended up attracting over 52,000. We’re returning bigger and better, taking over 600,000 square feet of event space, expecting over 65,000 attendees from across the Greater Toronto Area. (Album)

Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival 2016
From the humble beginning of only 27 teams participating in the first festival back in 1989, the Festival has evolved to a much bigger operation over the past two decades. 
Organized by the Toronto Chinese Business Association and Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival, the Festival in 2016 will once again expect 180 to 200 teams with over 5,000 athletes. 
In 2016, as the Festival celebrates its 28th year, it promises to continue to be one of the most exciting summer events in Toronto. Once again this year, the Festival will welcome teams from all provinces across Canada, from the U.S., the Caribbean Islands, Europe and Asia. (Album)
